London Performing Academy of Music
The Classical Music University of the 21st Century
The London Performing Academy of Music (LPMAM) is a new Independent International Music Conservatoire opening its doors in January 2021 in London.
LPMAM is Unique Music Conservatoire for Innovation, Diversity and Inclusion. It offers an eminent faculty with a strong performing curriculum. Traditional teaching is conducted alongside innovative courses focused on the practical figure of the performer in the current music industry. This unique combination comes together to create an ideal setting that nurtures creativity, development, and musical excellency where young musical talents can grow beyond the ordinary and shape the future of the Classical music industry.
LPMAM will be the true home to Classical Music in the XXI Century, thus including Classical Music from Africa and India, African Jazz and Caribbean Heritage music, among others, as well as comprehensive lectures in “Classical Black Music History”, ‘“The Historical and Social impact of music” and “Reflecting on Race and the BlackLivesMatter Movement”, making it a unique example of Diversity and Inclusion.
LPMAM is the first Classical Music Conservatoire to offer full instrumental Classical music diplomas online. Our technologically advanced LPMAM platform will not only allow us to connect and educate during the lockdown, but will be extremely beneficial for reaching out to a wider group of disadvantaged students that would not otherwise have access to higher music education or be able to move to London to study at our campus when this pandemic will be over.
We aim, through the “Patrons and Sponsors of the LPMAM”, to provide extraordinarily gifted young musicians with the finest possible chances to develop, expand and utilise their talent.
